Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 November 2026
This policy describes Stelyx's intended data practices for its Windows study application. It must be reviewed against the actual production implementation before Google OAuth verification or public release.
1. About Stelyx
Stelyx is a study application designed for organizing flashcards, notes, assessments and learning activities. The application may offer optional AI-assisted features and user-managed Google Drive backups.
2. Information processed
Depending on the features you use, Stelyx may process account information you provide (such as email and account identifiers), study materials you create or import, app preferences, review activity, and information needed to maintain account access and entitlement records.
3. Google Drive permissions and use
When you choose to connect Google Drive, Stelyx requests authorization through Google's consent process. Stelyx intends to use the granted access to create, locate, download and restore backups associated with your Stelyx account, not to browse unrelated personal files. The exact access available depends on the Google Drive OAuth scope configured in the released application.
Stelyx does not use Google Drive data for targeted advertising or sell Google user data. Drive data is not shared with AI providers for model generation unless you deliberately choose to supply that content for a separate AI feature and the app clearly discloses that action.
4. AI study features
If AI-assisted features are enabled and you choose to use them, the content you submit for generation may be transmitted to AI processing services and their model providers for the requested task. Avoid submitting sensitive information you do not wish to share. Specific production vendors, retention rules and handling arrangements must be documented accurately before those features are launched.
5. Authentication, infrastructure and payments
Stelyx may use service providers for account authentication, application infrastructure and payments. Relevant providers for the planned release include Supabase and Dodo Payments. When a payment is made, the checkout provider manages the payment process under its own applicable terms and privacy notices.
6. Storage and retention
Study data may exist on the device, within the account service, and—in the case of user-initiated backups—in your connected Google Drive. Retention depends on account activity, app behavior, backup settings and legal requirements. Disconnecting Google Drive does not automatically delete existing backup files from your Drive account.
7. Your choices and requests
You can revoke an application's Google permissions in your Google Account security settings. For account or privacy requests, including questions about accessing or deleting data, contact the Stelyx developer at the support address below. Backup copies stored in your personal Google Drive may also require deletion from that account.
8. Security
Stelyx aims to use appropriate access controls and service-provider safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Security controls and data-handling statements must match the implemented product.
9. Children and eligibility
Access to some features, particularly AI features, may be restricted by age or require additional consent. Actual eligibility and consent flows will be disclosed in the application where applicable.
10. Updates
We may update this policy as the Stelyx application evolves. The updated policy and effective date will be published at this address.
